Enniscrone is a prime location for Deep-sea angling; the pier sits right on the bay so you can begin as soon as the boat departs. There is a variety of about twenty-five fish. Enniscrone's Killala Bay, is famous for its specimen fish and supplied the Irish record John Dory, together with specimen blue shark, grey, red and tub gurnard, ling and pollack. Other species include coalfish, cod, conger, ray, skate, tope and turbot.
